The Glosrose story

Glosrose was established in 1976 as a family business. Having nurtured our industry knowledge and brand reputation, we have developed from a local supplier based in Kent to a nationwide company, retaining the values that have cemented our growth over the years.

In 2016 it will be our 40th anniversary, in this time we have gained a wealth of experience in the Mechanical Handling and Construction Industry. Glosrose are able to provide cost effective solutions across all aspects of your business, including; Industrial Trucks, Electric Trucks, Warehouse Trucks, Heavy Trucks, Waste & Recycling, Access & Cleaning and all Ancillary Equipment. Our services don’t stop there either. With concrete knowledge, Glosrose are able to provide cost effective construction equipment for Load Handling, Groundworks, Compaction and Ancillary Equipment.

I first started Glosrose back in 1976, how time has flown by. The company has steadily grown and I have always believed that a strong family environment has been important to our success. Many of my own immediate and extended family work at Glosrose and have done for many years, and this has always given us a strong foundation.

I am proud to say, I see the whole of Glosrose as one big family. We are a team that works hard together and has maintained family values along the way.

Forward focus

Since Glosrose first started, we have seen a steady growth in sales, hire and service over the years. Our commitment and vision is to continue our customer service in both mechanical handling and construction equipment. We value new and existing business and aim to maintain the standards we have set ourselves as we move forward as a team.
